Txomin TOYOS: ‘A local child, I studied art in Toulouse. For the last 25 years, I've been passionate about creating paintings and copying the great masters. Today, I'm both a painter and the director of a workshop for copying paintings in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
Our workshop is made up of four painters, each with their own speciality, including the production of very lifelike portraits. I myself respond to requests for original creations and am always keen to hear new ideas and will be delighted to discuss them with you.
We welcome you from Monday to Saturday to show you our services. 'I will be available to answer your questions about our works, explain our reproduction process, and assist you with your project.'

Our method of reproducing paintings has been perfected over the years to enable us to offer faithful reproductions of old or modern works of art.

Our reproductions are the fruit of a combination the meticulous work of an artist with the precision of photographic impregnation on canvas. The canvas is hand-prepared to interact with the paint like an antique surface.The canvas is then entirely hand-repainted by myself, guaranteeing a faithful reproduction, with the depth and brushstrokes of a real painted work.

This process, combining tradition and innovation, replicates the details of the original, including impasto, glaze, and patina. This level of surface rendering is rarely achievable with conventional reproductions. Our reproductions are crafted to match the authenticity of museum-quality paintings.

We use the finest materials to ensure the durability of the canvas, the sturdiness of the stretchers, and the use of genuine traditional fixings and varnish. Below, you can see examples of our reproductions of C. Monet's works displayed in his museum in Giverny, along with close-up shots showcasing the precision of our brushstrokes.
