Vincent VAN GOGH
Vincent van Gogh, born in 1853 in the Netherlands, is one of the most famous and influential painters in the history of Western art.
A member of the Post-Impressionist movement, he is known for his bold use of color and light, as well as his expressive brushstrokes. Although his artistic career was relatively short, stretching from 1880 until his death in 1890, his works had a lasting impact on modern art. Van Gogh produced around 2,100 works, including some 860 oil paintings, often inspired by nature and everyday life.
Van Gogh is famous for several major works :
